An entropy approach to kinetic ABP
The entropy approach to the kinetic ABP estimate is the key novelty in Astra’s proof of the kinetic Krylov–Safonov theorem, supplying the missing piece of the puzzle. The proof works with the adjoint equation and obtains an entropy estimate through a carefully chosen auxiliary regularisation flow. Compared with the elliptic case, the regularisation flow must capture the underlying hypoelliptic effect.
